Yeah, the spirit of Whittier High runs deep, they say. A hundred and twenty-five years of graduating classes, etched into the concrete of this town. And not a single one of those classes, not a single soul, is untouched by the actions taking place right here, right now, in our community.
We've seen the lies, felt the sting of injustice. They talk about "order," but it's just a boot on the neck of working families, tearing apart the very fabric that holds us together. They call us criminals, but we're standing for dignity, for due process, for the most vulnerable among us who are being crushed under the weight of their system.
This ain't about advocating for the guilty; it's about tearing down the walls of oppression that silence the innocent and break the spirit of our neighborhoods.
"Resisting with Class" – yeah, that's the battle cry. It started with the Class of '99, a spark igniting the fire. But this ain't just for Whittier High. When we resist with class, we invite all classes from all schools, from every corner of this community, to resist with us! No matter your year, no matter your school, your struggle is our struggle!
